    hey there,

Looking for new stereo - amp + 2 speakers. Budget is around 500 euro, dont have preference about the type of speakers, either floorstander or bookshelf will do. Amp needs to have BT and digital (optical) in, but I suppose probably most newer have these :)

    I was thinking of this
    https://euro.richersounds.ie/p-13675-yamaha-rs202d-clearance-black-black-dab-bluetooth-stereo-receiver.aspx
with Dali Zensor 3, but I'm open to any suggestions. This will be used in living room which is aprox 7x4 metres, mixed music and films.

    Hi Docentore.

    Thanks for the post.

The RS202D is a great little amp. However there is no digital input which you would need to connect your television to it.
Unless your lucky enough to have audio out phono connections on your current set?

To get around this you could use the CYP AUD3 digital to analogue converter which retails at 49.99 Euro
    https://euro.richersounds.ie/p-12519-cyp-aud3-192-dac.aspx

To get the optical connection built into the amp you would be starting at the Yamaha RN303 coming in at 299 Euro
    https://euro.richersounds.ie/p-202841-yamaha-rn303d-black-network-stereo-receiver.aspx

You could pair this with the excellent Fyne F301's retailing at 299 euro
    https://euro.richersounds.ie/p-13442-fyne-audio-f301-black-black-ash-speakers-per-pair.aspx

I could offer a deal on the RN303 with the F301's for 500 Euro delivered plus 4 meters of decent enough speaker cable.

    Let me know your thoughts.

    Thanks.

    What about getting deal on
    Marantz MCR611
    with Elac Debut B5.2

    Hi docentore,

thanks for the post and apologies for the delay getting back to you :o

The MCR611 is a super unit and we can do that with the Elac Debut B5.2 reduced from £548 / €628 to just £529 / €609 which I know busts your budget slightly.

If you don't need the CD functionality of the MCR611 but you wanted better audio quality I would look at the step-up from your original RS202 selection and have a look at the Yamaha RN303 - that's a proper network receiver with both optical and digital inputs and FM / DAB tuner, of course it has net radio and wireless streaming as well - check it out here:
    https://www.richersounds.ie/p-202841-yamaha-rn303d-black-network-stereo-receiver.aspx

You can match the RN303 us as follows:

    Yamaha RN303 + Dali Zensor - Reduced from £468 / €558 to just £449 / €529

    Yamaha RN303 + Elac Debut 5.2- Reduced from £498 / €578 to just £429 / €499

    But my preference would be:

Yamaha RN303 + Fyne Audio F302- Reduced from £648 / €748 to just £478 / €549 - I know that this still busts your €500 budget but it really would sound exceptional with those Fyne Audio F302:
    https://www.whathifi.com/fyne-audio/f302/review

Check out that review - and they actually sound even better than the review says!

All of the above are available from stock ready to ship straight away..

Thanks again docentre and keep us posted if we can assist in any way,

    ATVB,

    John Mc & Crew

    Thanks John,
My friend who is decision maker on this decided to go with Jamo S803 (ordered elsewhere unfortunately) and mentioned Marantz system from your shop. He fell in love with Jamo's after watching some reviews on YouTube.

    Thanks for all advise.

I think he already ordered one yesterday, the white version of Marantz from Richer sounds. We just need to organise some speaker cables :)
