Reflective Film on Windows

This is maybe more of an exterior issue, but I couldn't see anywhere else to post it. The previous owner of my apartment had coated some of the exterior windows with reflective film. I'm very keen to have it removed but I can't find any business online who'd do this. Has anyone any suggestions? It's on a fairly high first floor so I'm not tackling it myself!

Usually this kinda stuff can be just pulled off with the aid of a steam cleaner (it melts the glue holding it on, so it just peels off). Pretty sure any Joe Soap general handyman would tackle it for you. Or failing that, get someone who does car window tinting, they'd be removing these window films on a regular basis.

Thanks for replying. The windows are not easily accessible so I'm not sure a general handyman would be in a hurry to tackle it and on close examination it seems more like actual glass than a coating -very annoying!

It sounds like you need somebody to do a survey with a ladder, then hire a scaffold or platform to do the actual job. (Something like this https://www.hirehere.ie/access-and-scaffolds/towers-platforms )
