Just looking at the news of the rent pressure zone being introduced today with immediate affect, good news but why just in Limerick city east?

I have to be honest I had to look up where even that included,

    https://www.finegael.ie/our-people/councillors/limerick/limerick-city-east/

I think really for rental purposes they should have included the entire city as opposed to one section of it

Won't be surprised if rent in all other areas takes a jump.

Our landlord wants to increase ours by 45% in June, can't wait to tell the smug prick that we are getting the keys to our own house tomorrow and he can shove his increase up his arse.

Been there 10 years now and have usually had modest increases but this one was ridiculous.

Out of curiosity, what rent were you paying and what did he want to put it up to?

Jesus Christ hit that’s a joke - RPZ for just a small part of the city and the centre isn’t included.

It'd almost make you wonder if people bringing about this stuff own property in the city...
