Yes that's right I bought a fecking paper and its absolute tribe. This is not even the worst newspaper you can buy and it used to be good back in the day but its pure muck now.
The sad part is I would like to be able to say it was good or decent but it was not. The only reason I bought it is because the match was good last night and I want to read what they say put after looking at the rest of the paper I trou it on the floor and have not picked it up yet lazy fecker I am lol.

    Live long and Prosper

    Peace and long life.

Independent News and Media shares are 7 cent a piece these days, the equivalent of a bank share during the recession.

The newspapers aren't the same since Sam Fox and Linda Lusardi stopped doing features

Apart from the Racing Post, I haven't bought a newspaper in about 6-7 years. They are filled with rubbish overreactions, fake outrage and fake news. They are the enemy of the people.

Ah, a newspaper, it's like a printout of things you can google on the internet.

There is also something called a book, it's much smaller and has internet articles of greater length, or just made up stuff. So also like the internet but you don't need a computer or a phone, you just go to this place where they sell them, or a big warehouse where you can go to storage shelves and find them yourself.

At least one person over 30 had to google that to find out it's meaning. Feckin' internet speak making me feel like an oul fella

I had a brief look at the indo last week in a coffee shop; yesterday's news today, last night's sport which I had already read on social media within an hour of it happening, and self-righteous columnists trying way too hard to be relevant. Also, the classifieds were like some kind of time-warp... who the flip pays money to have a 3 line ad for their used car that nobody will ever bother looking at?

Then the so- called journalists are on the Twitter complaining about people expecting news for free. Well, it is and you're redundant.

OH buys the local paper once a week here. It’s a complete waste of time, money paper and ink.
Court appearances, death notices of people 30 years dead and ****in gaa results.

Yeah but that is the world I actually live in.

I don't live in game of thrones or true detective.

Some people live in odd bubbles of multinational deskjobs and then crawl in traffic back to a flat to binge on HBO stuff on some device. Rinse and repeat. I, on the other hand, live in a nice place and like to interact with it to the full.

Local newspapers are still very relevant to me in this respect. They tell me who is scum and who to watch out for. I am involved in local sports. I only have business casting a vote in the polling both if I know how the various incumbents stand on the local issues. If local shops have deals I want to know too. Good luck buying a kitchen or carpet on the internet.

Many gripes above against the nationals however are quite valid. I wouldn't be buying shares there.
