    Hi there,

Currently refurbishing a 1970's build 3 bed semi detached home purchased last year.
As it stands the house is C rated BER, and has had external insulation and new windows installed within last 5 years.

Oil fired central heating currently in situ with boiler >20years old. Gun-barrel piping in situ to radiators.

6 radiators downstairs, 4 radiators upstairs.

In process of refurb of house, we are in a position to make changes to the heating system, hoping to include new zoned heating controls.

A new boiler is on the cards, a condenser boiler if keeping oil, at a cost of roughly 2200.
We have the option of getting rid of Oil altogether and changing to gas mains supply, anyone have any advice/recommendations for this process? We are eligible for connection to Gas mains, at a cost of €250.

I'm also looking for anyone with experience or trade knowledge of how much it would cost to remove existing radiators/plumbing and installing new piping and 10 radiators? A ballpark figure to act as a guide would be great.

    Thanks
