He's after a nice quality / hi end ish / preferably European scope so not interested in hawk / vortex etc.

Very basic stalking zoom ranges with nothing over 12 or 15 power required.

Budget will be decided by the "right" scope. To use Zeiss as an example, doesn't have to be a victory, a conquest V6 or the likes would be ideal.

Preferably with illumination also.

I have three Zeiss scopes available.

8x56 Diatal with mounting rail, 750 E

2.5-10x50 Diavari with BDC/ASV on elevation turret, 1000 E

5-15x42 Diavari with BDC/ASV, with different rings for various calibre, 1200
