    any recommendations of where to purchase a good chainsaw and blower where we wont be ripped off?

    I got them in Lidl recently

    Stay with the Stihl brand, good solid equipment, will still work in 10 years time

    if you spend a few hours a year chopping light stuff and blowing, stay cheap and cheerful like Lidl/Aldi and keep your receipt.

    If using more intensively and regularly, buy branded Stihl / Husqi locally (ignore the brand war battle like Apple / Android - people get very excitable :) )
    Choose size appropriately. Nice handy small and light saw suits most people.
