Woodworm treatment

Hi, Recently found woodworm in the house and got a company out to do a survey. They say they can treat it but everything upstairs has to cleared out. Carpets have to come up tiles in bathroom and toilet and every 5th floor board and then the floorboards would have to go back afyer the treatment is done. I don't even know…
