When do Hurling tickets usually go on sale?

    Hi,

I'm trying to buy tickets to a good hurling game in the summer time as a birthday gift (ie there is a deadline in early April). I've heard that the Munster games tend to be better matched currently than the Leinster ones, so will aim for one of those games if possible.

The website (https://www.gaa.ie/tickets/) currently only lists a game on March 31st. When do tickets usually go on sale for the All Ireland Hurling Championship? Is it possible that I will be able to buy tickets in early April?

    Thanks,

I'd be surprised if they are on sale in early April, but it won't be long after that.

The opening games are on the 12th of May. Waterford hosting Clare in Waterford will be next to impossible to get a ticket for, so your best hope is to get a ticket for Cork vs Tipp in Cork.

The other game worth a look that weekend will be Kilkenny vs Dublin in Leinster on Saturday 11th of May. This match is on in Kilkenny.
