Transforming wild garden/lawn into bee paradise?

Hi guys, i would love to convert my currently wild garden/lawn into a bee paradise aka plant a full on wildflower-based lawn/garden. I was wondering if someone has advise how/when to convert and plant the wildflower seeds? and where to maybe buy bulk quantities? Currently the gras is not cut and has some weeds inbetween,…

Hi guys,

i would love to convert my currently wild garden/lawn into a bee paradise aka plant a full on wildflower-based lawn/garden.

I was wondering if someone has advise how/when to convert and plant the wildflower seeds? and where to maybe buy bulk quantities?

Currently the gras is not cut and has some weeds inbetween, it also has the awkward bigger "gras-bushes" inbetween. I was wondering how to go about things, would it help to just cut it and then throw out the seeds or actually turn the ground/earth and then plant seeds?

Basically you want to create a meadow which means killing the grasses turning the top over and reseeding with wild meadow varieties.

yes that would be basically it, isnt that defeating the purpose to actually kill gras? would it maybe work to clear/lighten the grass somehow and plant seeds inbetween?

Nothing can compete with grass (other than perennial weeds of course) - it wins every time.
