Hi all, looking for recommendations for a city centre Hotel just for a night for two adults. Won't be til June we need it but want to have it booked. Somewhere fairly central, we can park the car and walk.....

Any of the O’Callaghan’s hotels are central.

Then the shelbourne, Fitzwilliam, and merrion are central but dearer.

Thanks all. Would like nice hotel with breakfast incl. Its shopping trip hence why central and then we could try some of the fab restaurants too for dinner. Something reasonable. I don't fancy paying 250e odd for one night

right, so we are talking B&B with parking, close enough to walk around the shops.

Brooks Hotel on Drury St. Parking across the street in the multi storey. Short walk to shopping. Loads of restaurants close by to choose.

The best value hotel is the Camden court hotel on Camden street , reasonably priced , about a km south of Grafton street . Probably 160a room as opposed to 200 plus elsewhere

My mother-in-law came to visit last weekend and stayed in The Green Hotel right beside Stephens Green there, did a nice brekkie and was decent value for such a central location slap bang on the luas line too!

I think it used to be called something else, but they've done a crackin' job with the place.

    Here's their website:
