Netting fruit trees and bushes

So, this year I'm determined that those little wing-ed and be-tailed feckers aren't going to get my whole harvest.

I've about 15 young Aronia bushes (~3-4ft), three cobnuts (~6ft), cherry and plum (7-8ft), and cornelian cherry (~4-5ft). They're welcome to the Medlar fruit.

Last year my small crop was only robbed when near ripe, so I reckon I have a bit of time.

Any tips? Buy or make the frames? What sort of netting?

I used the Dealz €1.50 netting on a few bushes and trees last year. Worked ok, bit awkward to wrap some trees

Did you bother with frames or just wrap it round?

just wrapped, some fruit near the netting gets pecked but and inside was ok.
Bit of a pain to take off afterwards though as branches grow through it.
