One faucet not working, replace whole tap?

    Hi

First, excuse my lack of technical vocabulary, English is not my first language and I would not use these terms on a regular basis.
The hot water faucet in our shower is not working. It's this kind of pseudo Victorian mixer taps for bath with an attached shower head.

I've narrowed down the problem to the faucet. All the other taps in the house work, the cold water in that tap works, and when I removed the tap and turn on the pump, the hot water came out fine.

I've tried to unscrew the inside of the faucet, but it doesn't do much. I thought I would be able to take apart the whole thing and clean it but it doesn't seem to be possible. So the question is, do I need to change the whole tap or is there a trick to disassemble the faucet?

    Thanks
