Lucan Boundary changes

A councillor on Sunday told us about the new boundary changes for lucan. Everything east of the link road is Fonthill now. Is this just for elections or is everything east of the link road now considered Fonthill and not Lucan?

Its for council elections and then district based decisions after that:

There is a general move to have more, smaller areas within councils for a variety of reasons but realistically to try reduce the number of Independents who get elected
