do I need planning permission to install a pyramid skylight on an existing flat roof?

I have an existing flat roof which needs to be renovated and a roofer dude is coming tomorrow to get started on it (torch on felt). Got him at very short notice so didn't have a huge amount of time to prep for roof lights.

I am thinking of getting him to build an upstand and order one of these as part of the renovation : https://www.sterlingbuild.co.uk/product/korniche-glass-lantern-rooflight-with-ambi-blue-tint-and-grey-externalwhite-internal-200x200cm

It's basically a pyramid shaped roof light for flat roofs.

question: does this change the roof in a significant way to require planning permission or will I get away with it? It would be about 40cm high I think. I have a few existing dome lights that are around the same height so I'd imagine this doesn't need permission but I want to be sure.

    Advice greatly appreciated!

My gut feeling is that it does not require planning.

But you really should get an official opinion on site.
