Shipping recommendation: Amazon DE

I purchased a product which turned out to be defective from Amazon DE. As they can't produce a pre-paid shipping label for Ireland, I need to return to item at my expense, which they will then reimburse.

Has anyone done this before, and if so, which company did you use?

It will depend on the size and weight, you can get some quotes from Parcel2Go, Anpost, etc

In the end I found DPD to be competitive & Amazon refunded the costs as soon as I sent them the invoice!

I wound't have been too bothered about finding a competitive price. I sent something back with AnPost once and it cost €60 something and I only expected Amazon to pay something towards the cost (like what it would have cost them) but they paid the lot no problem.

As far as I know under EU rules, they're obliged to pick up whole the tab. That being said, I didn't want to take the p***, took me 10 mins to search for a few quotes.
