    Hi Guys

We recently signed up to Eir broadband and almost immediately decided to cancel due to a number of issues.  We cancelled within the cooling-off period and returned the equipment within the deadline.  We also went to cancel the direct debit with the bank but it wasn't showing on the account so we assumed (foolishly, given our other experiences with Eir) that your accounts department had already cancelled it on your side.  Unfortunately, this wasn't the case and we have just been charged €88 for the full month's service despite having cancelled weeks ago.  Can you please advise on what we need to do to receive a refund of the overcharged period?

    Thanks
    DH
