Ruby Walsh down to ride Teds horse in a 6F maiden. Has he ever ridden over distances of under a mile before?

I remember him riding a horse at Laytown years ago at a similar distance. Ordinarily, I would say that he's too heavy to ride on the flat, but I see that Ted's horse is top weight in the handicap, so he just about makes the weight. I'd say there's nothing in it.

Oops, so it is, I should have looked further down the card. I seen Ted's horse carrying 10st 4lb and just assumed.

    That'll be cool to see.

Think Shataraat looks an interesting runner in the Lincoln. Form on the soft stuff fairly impressive last year and arguably open to plenty of improvement.

He won't be jumping off a horse in a 6F sprint you can be sure!!!!! ;)

Never read ger lyons blog when you fancy one of his, he put me off kerawaan saying he would be too slow.
Watched offtheball last night and a racing post journalist put it up as his 100 euro charity bet.
