    Hi

Have a 5 year old starting hurling next week. Will neeea helmet.

See there are different pricing between o’neills, marc, azzurri, mycro etc

He is only 5 and not even sure if he will take to it. Don’t want to spend loads on a helmet either.

Any advise on which one to get?

I've found the Mycro is the only one with properly small helmets for kids. The o Neills is a really nice helmet but a bit big for a 5yr old. Marc is similar to o Neills in size but not built as well. No experience with azzurri.

Thanks. Saucy enough prices on top of a hurl, fee to join the club, boots etc.

The small O'Neills is smaller than the mycro.

Azzurii has a helmet for 40. Reduced from 50

    Any good:

Only has 3 sizes. S M and L. Not sure if these are even for kids sizes.

Is there such a thing as ‘adult’ size helmets versus ‘kids’ helmets?
