Cheap fitness band with heart rate, blood pressure and o2 monitor ( €6.18 )

I already have a Xiaomi MiBand3 that cost around €30+ and only measures heart rate. (but has great battery life of 20-30 days)

This caught my eye (not from Xiaomi), because it also apparently measures blood pressure and o2 levels in the blood.
Consider this a toy/cheap knock-off and not an accurate health monitor but seemed worth a few quid to try. God knows how it can really measure blood pressure though... I've an Aldi/Lidl blood pressure monitor to compare it against.

I'm curious if the o2 levels could detect potential sleep apnea, e.g. if the o2 levels drop below a certain threshold while sleeping.

I've bought loads from buyincoins, but expect long delivery times of 4+ weeks.

Be careful trying to use something like this to try and diagnose actual medical conditions. You need something certified to provide that level of accurate information and they'll cost a hell of a lot more. At best these devices give broad trends, but I guess that's enough to help decide if you need to go to your GP with the issue.

Mind me asking how you know the BP readings are accurate? Did you do a comparison with a proper BP machine? I'm tempted to grab one out of curiosity. Didn't know that they'd started measuring BP and O2 levels

I've bought a few cheap fitness bands from sites like DX, and they've all become a cropper within a week. Failing to charge, mainly.

You can get decent ones from Amazon in the €20-30 bracket (kids use them no bother), but you get what you pay for, IMO.

At the price above though, worth a punt if you want a cheap pedometer. I wouldn't expect the other functions to be any way accurate.

You cannot do BP accurately without compression, so unless these devices construct the blood flow periodically they are not doing BP.

have had the xiaomi mi bands (different versions) but find the honor bands (3 or 4) to be more reliable, better built and longer lasting with better features and better looking also. good app too.

you can get the honor band 3 pretty cheap on aliexpress, banggood.

the ones like this usually won't last long and have crap apps. a lot of the utility comes in terms of the quality of the app.

I only really use it for steps and seems pretty accurate.

I did pre order the below quite recently as finding the Xaomi a bit hard to see in the dark, worth a go as a touch screen

yes screen on my mi band 2 died after 6 months. it's of poor quality.

the honor band 3 is better built and has features such as rem sleep tracking (as well as the normal deep and light sleep) that even the latest mi band 3 doesn't have and doesn't have a silly raised blob face like the 3. strap is much better also. the screen on it can even light up things at a low level like a very low power torch!

having had both I can just say from my point of view that the honor's are better quality.

re a watch I'd only consider one if it offered more features than a band such as gps, music storage etc.

also it isn't very comfortable to wear a watch at night for sleep tracking.

I had the MiBand1, the wife had the MiBand2 and now I've the MiBand3.
Never any issues with them, other than upgrading to the next version.


They can be a pain to pair with your phone initially and the charger/cable can be a bit hit and miss, but the app and band were always okay.

not much difference really except for the colour screen. so the 3 at not much over 1/2 the price is the one I'd still go for. I actually prefer the mono screen.

there is also a less-featured version of the 4 for running specifically (cheaper).
