Am I an idiot or are Gmail making "helpful" upgrades?

The labels list is collapsed in my gmail and I can't figure out how to expand it. I've googled and there isn't much out there and nothing that helped for me. Is this a case of me simply being an idiot or have gmail forced another stupid change on me that I don't want? Thanks.

Sounds like you have been hacked - possibly the FBI or CIA. Either way I would leave the county and never look back.

If you are a brave soul and decide to stand your ground I would have a look under settings \ labels - probably something in there acting up.

It also depends what version or display type you are using within gmail as there are a couple to pick from which might change the orientation of the display.

Also I would microwave your phone - 'they' are probably monitoring that as well.

if you scroll down there is a 'more' label at the bottom, click that

Are you serious? Granted, gmail has been getting worse for years, but Outlook is horrific.

I am serious; that’s why I posted it.

We moved the office email and apps from GSuite to Microsoft Office 365 last year. Difference is night and day. Office365 is slick.

To elaborate further on this piece of excellent advice. It is quite easy to disappear from the FBI or CIA and I'm here to help guide you on your new ilfe with these easy to follow steps

1. Buy a plane ticket to any one of the South American countries.
2. Exchange most of your money into cash.
3. Take a flight to your chosen country
4. Upon landing, book into a hotel and stay there for one night using your cc then discard of your CC.
5. The next day take a bus to a different country using your cash to pay for the ticket.
6. Keep using buses till you reach a small remote town in some South American country
7. Enjoy your new life free from the struggles of western spying

weird. 'manage labels' should show up under the 'more' - is everything 'show'?

In the very top left corner is an icon of three horizontal white lines. Just click on it once and the stuff you want will be unhid. Click it again if you need to collapse that shit out of the way.

Ever since Gmail did that big upgrade, look change, whatever it was, their email is so bad. It takes forever for any action to happen, delete conversations, move to different label, etc. And you come back later to find it still didn't do the stuff you asked it to do and you have to do it again.. It's crap.

I have both Hotmail and Gmail accounts. I completely agree with Johnny on this one. I haven't used my Gmail account in years, I don't like it at all. Hotmail/Outlook is what I use for everything

I thought it was just because my laptop isn't the best but that makes sense. I hate the new look.
