Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

I was wondering if anyone had a family plan with a slot free or was planning on setting one up? Hardly anyone I know has Apple Music and it seems a great way to save a few bob!

Sorry to bring up an old post. Would love to get on a family plan if there is any slots available

Really doubt anyone will add you to their apple family plan. All purchases in a family go through the credit card attached to the primary account holder. Would be actually foolish.

But can you not turn off all purchases or per user on family account?

yes and then you can't buy anything without the main user being notified. but that being said if you're looking to get Apple Music on the cheap you're unlikely to buy other apps/services anyways.

Judging by other threads for different services sharing family accounts it definitely much easier to do and the fact there's no thread for Apple Music should be a hint that it's not doable or at the very least not feasible.
