Old Acoustic Solutions TV maybe it could be fixed

    Hi I have an 11 year old Acoustic Solutions 26 inch TV.
    Nearly every time I turn it on horizontal lines flash on and off on it for 20 minutes then it fixes itself, lines go away and it works perfectly.
    If I turn it off and turn it back on an hour later it does the same thing horizontal lines for 20 minutes.
    Last Saturday the screen turned grey and I thought it was broke but it came back.
    It's 11 years old but if I could fix it cheaply it might be worth fixing.

    What could be the problem?
    If it could be a whole load of different things I think I'd be better off buying a new TV.
