Passcode on apps

I’ve googled this, but can’t find a proper answer!

I want to put a passcode on certain apps on my iphone (I think it’s a sixs) or better still to make a folder and put a few apps in there that I don’t want my kids to have access to.
Is there a simple way to this?

I don't believe this is possible. One thing iOS is lacking is multiple user options.

Best thing you can do is hide the apps in the second page of some randomly named folder on the last screen.
If they know how to use the search though, you're scuppered.

And I guess depending on the app, logging out of it might reduce its usability.

Here you go, Screen Time it's a workaround but it works.

Thanks! My seven year old has a couple of games that he plays, and then his little brother goes in and wrecks his progress (or something like that). I probably need to just delete them altogether and reclaim my phone!
