Compatible amp for squier?

Hi there I bought a squier guitar for my brother for his birthday and I need to know would an acoustic solutions amplifier which they have in argos be compatible with the squier,its a 20 watt amp.also are all the Jacks and sockets the same size regardless of the make of guitar and make of amp?thank you so much in advance

Yes it will work, guitars and amps all use the same plugs.

That Argos amp is pretty poor really, for similar money you could get one of these

a much more usable amp.
