Hello, I like the make up of this fund, i've got a friend in the Uk who has been investing in this for the last 5 years with his tax free isa allowance, obviously we don't get anything like that here as the country is ****e when it comes to these things. Tried to understand what sort of tax I would be paying on profits, am I right it will be at least 41%? Cheers

SMT is an investment trust company so it’s classed as a share, not a fund. Therefore gains are taxed under CGT and dividends are subject to your rate of income tax. Exactly the same as any other share e.g. Microsoft or Bank of Ireland.

You can purchase it through any stockbroker.
