Post Rock / Trip Hop / Chillout / yes, even Pop Original band needs members in Dublin

Hi there ! I’m looking for some very specific musicians for a new originals band , The Sixth Place Of Decimals.

Female guitarist who likes jazzy chords , uses effects and can do some vocals , ( Warpaint , Hiatus Koyote, St Vincent)

Drummer who can switch between raggae, jazz and funk, values tightness and groove over loud rock. ( Snarky Puppy , BrightBlack Morning Light , Steely Dan , Matisyahu ).

Keyboard player into the soundscape and sample side of things ( Massive Attack, Nine Inch Nails, Goldfrapp )

Female violin player to sing lead , preferably electric violin, ( Sudan Archives , Jon luc Ponty and Amanda Shires style of integrating violin into a band setting )

The band will be chillstep-y, groovy , funky , raggae-ish , trip hoppy and slightly prog-y without the 14 minute toe cymbal solos ( note to self, invent the toe cymbal) . The main aim is to create a new blend of these disparate parts, but with some pop sensibilities and hooks so that we are of interest to more than just the three bleary eyed stoner dudes desperately clutching the bar for balance , god bless ‘em.

I intend to write the songs, but improvising and jamming will be a huge aspect of it, even performing live. Of course listing influences and demos is a necesssary evil to give some sort of band direction, so you can see some demo tracks on sound cloud by looking for The Sixth Place Of Decimals.
