Was talking to a painting Company that only use this German STO Paint and primer, just wondering has anyone use this STO product ?

its about €250 per 15L bucket of paint, vs Dulux WeatherShieldabout €75 for 10L

    STO per Litre € 16
    Dulux per Litre € 7.50

    is this worth the extra?

Never heard of it, but what would be the extra benefit of it? Can it do something that the other cant, to justify the price?

You know, for example, the way 'one coat' paints are only actually one-coat when you use them in very specific circumstances (meaning they're never really one-coat at all), does this promise something extra?

Dulux is a fairly tried, tested and trusted name in the paint world. I'd have a hard time justifying paying more than 100% extra for a different brand name on the tin. Celtic tiger nonsense, in my opinion.
