VirginMedia cs Vodafone

I'm currently with virginmedia on 360 Gb with offer to go 500 Gb. A few days ago vodafone 1Gb broadband went live in my area. It will be cheaper & faster, so it seems to be a no-brainer. Any opinions of existing vodafone customers? Vodafone provides gigabox router (free) and free installation.
