    Asking for my brother-in-law.

He has security gates with a SIM inside. The credit has expired after six months, so he bought €5 eir credit.

I don't think he's even an eir customer. It's just the SIM that's eir

How does he get the voucher credit applied?

There must be an easy way

Assuming the SIM is disconnected as you have`nt loaded credit within a 6 month period. You can try 1901 but you will be faced with questions about registered name etc etc which I guess you have`nt got.

Simplest way is to go to an Eir retail shop, tell them what happened and as long as you get someone with an idea of what a SIM can do outside a phone you should be OK. If its over a year since you got the SIM forget it,just buy a new one and fit it in the gate slave.

Once you let it go beyond 6 months you are lining up hassle for yourself
