    Hi,

I recently bought at Huawei P20 having previously had an iPhone.

Apart from the sound being shi.te the only issue I'm having is that whenever I am listening to RTE 1 podcasts on the player, and I switch to another app, the podcast cancels. When I open again it goes back to the start.

    Very frustrating!

Any ideas what is going on or how to fix it? It doesn't happen with any other radio apps.

    Cheers

I've done that already and no change!

The sound quality is good but the volume is way too low when there is any external noise to deal with. I listen to current affairs podcasts etc and if outside with traffic you can't really here the conversation.

When I go to the gym I switch sims and use my old iPhone.

(I have tinnitus so do not turn volumes up excessively high)

Thanks , that’s good to know as I often play radio and podcasts thru my phone (or speaker) at home and moving from room to room , iPhone sound is v good, I’d want the same in new phone .

Protect it and it should work.

try using a podcast app instead like podcast addict (free) and subscribe to the rte podcasts through that.
