Hi , not sure if I'm in the right forum for this but looking at getting a filtration system in place under the kitchen sink to provide quality drinking water. Based in Cork, can anyone recommend a provider...that wont break the bank!

Irish Water cannot recommend any particular filtration system or guarantee its effectiveness. It is best to talk to your local plumber for advice in this area.
