Porous concrete shed wall

    Hi everybody,

We bought recently a house with a concrete shed which is built on a party wall (the party wall is one of the wall of the shed). With the bad weather (heavy rain) we realised that the rain go through the wall and we could have the floor all wet.

I am looking at different options to waterproof the wall from the inside. I apply in ~ November a sealant from Ronseal on the side of the wall (which is painted?) of the neighbour and also inside. It seems to work but last week with the heavy rain I spot water going through again. What could be the long term solution adding a new wall inside with a waterproof layer or fiberglass paint?

    I am open to ideas.

    Thank you.

It may be from the way the roof is flashed to the wall.
    where is the rainwater gutter?
    Is it a parapet wall?
Could you get the wall plastered from the neighbours side?

You need to work from the outside

Thanks for your reply. I am new. Could you tell me if there is an option to get an notification when I get an answer?

I talk with someone who is on the waterproofing he told me it could be the roof and after asking a roofer the person said there is no waterproofing on the sides just under the roof.

So I might contact an other roofer and see what he ll say.
