    This week's Cycling tips podcast had a couple of snippets from the podcast linked below which has a cross country skier explaining how the blood passport checks were easily beaten :(

    TLDR: Drew blood in to 6 bags over a few months, performed transfusions immediately before and after races or training blocks to avoid really high red blood cell count, had ways of beating the blood passport checks even before removing the blood after a race if they placed
