Download pending from play store

Now i remember why i generally get mrs cyrus to stick with ios, have just got her a new p20 pro and all is fine except yesterday it decided to stop downloading from the playstore.

everything is download pending, i have tried all the internet tips re clearing cache deleting accounts force stopping and nothing works :mad:

any ideas?

Go to the my apps and games tab.
Check if the phone is updating any apps or trying it update. If it is ,stop the update and you should be able to download again.

logging in to play store remotely looks like the pending apps have now installed

Happened to both the S8s in my house when we got the Android Pie update. Twas all grand again next day.

I had a problem with mine the other day. It wouldn't even show updates and said there was an error checking for updates.
Went into apps, clicked on the play store and cleared cache and data. Then I clicked uninstall updates and rebooted the phone. Was sorted then.

I had the same problem of sorts. It would show pending for ages (even when nothing else was being downloaded) and then after about 30 seconds-1 minute it would kick off
