Form 12 Medical Expenses Problem

Hi all, thanks in advance for any help.

Both wife and I had medical bills last year. We are jointly assessed.

I am for the first time this evening using the online Form 12, and not enjoying it.

I entered my own figure for my medical expenses, but when we tried to enter my wife's figure separately, there was no way to do it.

When she then logged into her own account, she could view only, and make no changes.

Should I have totalled our medical expenses and just given one figure ?

I am the assessable person, but she paid her own expenses.

    It doesn't sound right ?

    TIA

YES..you are jointly assessed ! one figure!

the refund will be apportioned based on ratio of tax paid by both of you
