Anyone have any experience of installing this in a 3 zone (ground, first and second floor) system with hot water system as well? Each zone has one of those standard thermometers on the wall where you spin the dial up and down and it turns the pump on and off.
Would this Tado system be compatible (assuming I added TRVs to each rad) but I assume if it was you are looking at a hefty out lay with 13 radiators in the house..

    Thanks for any thoughts.

The horizontal valves are temp out of stock, I ordered one during black Friday and it still hasn't arrived...
Although the only difference is the screen rotation on them so the vertical valves will do the sam job

I got the smart radiator valves - constantly having to replace batteries on them

Do these work on their own or do you need to have some sort of control unit for them? I currently have HIVE installed and am happy with that.

I have a similar issue with having to replace batteries, i sent them an email and this came back to me:
    might help...

I have looked into this and I can see that your tado° bridge disconnects quite frequently. This means the Smart Radiator Thermostats have to recalibrate once the connection has been established. This will also cause the batteries to drain a lot faster than usual. I would also suggest checking the TRV pin. It could be that the pin is very stiff which means the Smart Radiator Thermostat motor has to use excessive force to move the pin and in doing so it will use more battery power and could also cause the Smart Radiator Thermostat to be uncalibrated. Please clean any caulk from the pin and use some light oil to lubricate the pin. It might also be worth trying a Smart Radiator Thermostat which you know works correctly on this troublesome TRV and monitor the results.

The disconnections you have experienced are a result of the router not always enabling the Internet Bridge to access the Internet. This sometimes can be the result of a routine restart of the router connected to the Internet.
Unplugging the Internet Bridge from the power for a minute or two, then plugging it back in can resolve the disconnection, but it may only help temporarily. Using an external power supply, such as the one that came with your tado°, may also help.

Our experience has shown that a more permanent solution is to ensure that the router is correctly configured to allow the Internet Bridge to reconnect to the Internet. Follow the steps listed in this article to ensure that your router is configured correctly to allow the Internet Bridge to function as expected.

If, after making these changes, you still experience routine Bridge disconnections, please provide us with the make and model of your router and tell us whether you are using any repeaters or switches so that we can investigate further.

Please try the above suggests and let us know the outcome. Specific times and dates really help us when conducting our investigations.

    Kind Regards,
