    Hi All,

My brother is looking to move from his 2 litre diesel peugeot rcz to a car which is cheaper to run for things like fuel, tax and insurance.

Initially he was looking for an electric car because of the cheaper running costs. However, most electric cars with the exception of the Renault Zoe would require adding quite a bit of money to the trade in value of the 2 litre diesel peugeot rcz (54k miles) and this is not really possible at the moment.

Does anyone have any experience with a Renault Zoe?

Or are there normal fuel cars out there which are cheaper for running costs than a Renault Zoe?

    Thanks

You can have a look in EV forum but to start - does you brother make trips suitable for an electric car?
    Zoe tax €120
Zoe insurance depends on the company - check a few and see
Zoe purchase cost 25000 or more, dends on trim level
Zoe full charge cost around 6 euro but then it is up to driving style how long this lasts - and there is a cost to install home charger

With these numbers in mind you can start doing comparisons to fuel cars.
