Time to change my trusted grand picasso as it’s not big enough for the family anymore. Looking at a ford galaxy, circa 2016. Anyone know what the 120bhp ones are like on diesal ? All the real mpg figures I can find only refer to the 150bhp or 180bhp ones, giving around 40mpg. Just wondering which engine would the the most economical to run ? Thanks

Its a big car so I would say you would be better with the higher powered engines. I would say the 120bhp with all passengers on board would be slow enough and possibly harder on the diesel than either of the other two power outputs

    Live long and Prosper

    Peace and long life.

Your probably right. I just see a lot of the Alhambra’s etc have 115bhp engines as well, with the way cars are mapped these days you just never know.
