Facebook Messenger - Remove Contact

This is driving me mad In messenger if I go to a contact and select remove contact it doesn't do anything I tried blocking the person in Facebook and it removed them but when you unblock they pop in messenger again Some of these "contacts" are profiles of people who I never added or had a number or email address for Tries…

Tries deleting the app, wiping cache etc and nothing

Anyone else get this?

Messenger is Facebook. I have deleted the app and disabled notifications but I still get ****e from them.

use a facebook lite app from the playstore and completely delete facebook and messenger.
