I think you need to reavaluate the asking price there.

Here is a similar one asking €4450:
    https://www.donedeal.ie/cars-for-sale/2011-ford-mondeo-2lt-titanium-model/21068768

    Here is even a 2012 asking €6600:

I think 5.5k to 6k is more realistic.

If you are selling a car on dd for gods sake go to the bother of filling out for the "greenlight"

It's a nice feature and I wouldn't look twice at a private ad without it

All those photos and not one of the interior.

Clean the car. Inside and out. Retake photos and update the price and as above greenlight.

Car is eight years old it way over priced.
Most it is worth is 3000/4000

Any service history, no mention in the ad. I'd get rid of the fact you bought it in December, someone interested can ring and ask.

Hi didn't want to start a new thread but wanted the valued opinion of people on the internet.

Planning on upgrading a car and not getting a good trade in on 09vw polo basic model with 95,000miles NCT till end of mid 2020.

Car has been serviced by Indy garage and has been reasonably looked after (few paint / scuffs) etc

Had a look on done deal and they seem to be going for circa 3k but they are a lot cleaner / better spec.

Would putting it up for 2.5k but accepting I'd get 2k a realistic figure.

    Sorry for the ramble!

That one I think has 3 cylinder engine if it is petrol. They tend have problems on high mileage.

This the closet one I have seen.

VW POLO NCT 10/20 mileage 92,000 mi
    €3,500 ono

Change the radio station to Lyric FM.

Perception of the big wheel and Spin 1038 is that could be driven hard.

Thanks I done a few checks on done deal and was slightly surprised how high they are. Yeah to be honest if I got around 2.5k I would be very happy.

I guess get it cleaned up, take some nice photos and buy a disposable sim card and wait for the callers.

    Thanks again

Most of those have lower mileage. High mileage a 3 cylinder petrol engine is not a good combination.
