Central Heating Control Unit

Having just finalised the budget for switching from an LPG boiler to an oil-fired boiler and tank, the plumber tells me we'll need an electrician to supply and fit the timer control unit. I guess I just assumed that would all come with the boiler. Yeah I know. She already told me.
Anyway, can anyone out there give me a ballpark figure I should expect for the supply and fit of a basic timer control unit?
    Thanks in advance!

The time clock is part of the lpg boiler, but there is a mains on off switch right beside it that takes power to the boiler itself. Hope this makes sense.

Yes, ground mounted outdoor, legal minimum from original indoor LPG wall mounted boiler.

some plumbers are not too confident with the electrics

you will need a permanent live for the frost stat on your new boiler so a 4 core cable will need to be ran

You have the double pole spur.If it location is in a good position then you can use that. You just need a time clock and cable brought out to the boiler. Some plumbers are confident doing this themselves, some not.Either way its not a big job

That's good news, looking at control units online they don't seem too expensive either.
