HKC Alarm Aux Fuse Fault

    Hey folks,

First off let me say I've no idea with alarm systems!

I recently moved into a house and my HKC alarm panel is showing this along with the fault light on. The alarm still works with sensors or most windows (haven't tested if they all trigger) and the front door. It goes off when it should and doesn't go off when it shouldn't.

Does anyone know where or what this fuse could be? Is it an issue considering everything seems to be working or is one thing likely not working?

Assuming it's not easy for someone with no experience, what kind of cost would I be looking at to get an alarm specialist out to fix?

    Cheers!

Aux fuse is located in main control panel, not keypad.
This is normally used to power devices from main control panel.
Normally PIRs or powered devices are powered from this.
If you dont have any then the system will still indicate the fuse blown even if not in use.
Could of been some short which blew the fuse.
Have you any PIRs on the system?
You can walk test the system using the user walk test. 0 hash 3 on the keypad.
As you test zones or devices the keypad and internal bell will sound depending on how the system is set up.

That system wouldn't give you too much information . Do both bells ring when the alarm is activated?
I take it that there is no other fault like battery etc?
My first be would be the 12vdc supply fuse.
If there are no devices depending on this then the alarm will continue to work fine, A multi Meter will quickly tell you which fuse it is & they are easy to replace on the board itself.
I would prefer if changed just to clean up the errors. But thats just me":)
