    Hi
Hope i can get some good info on this one.

ive searched previous posts but they're quiet older so hoping for some recent feed back or points of view ..

we've being buying bottled drinking water but really want to stop as i think were probably doing more damage to the environment with the amount of plastic we're going through.

I have been looking into a filtered kitchen tap to install instead of a smaller tap on the side of the sink as our sink is under counter and would be a lot of hassle to install.

does anyone have any views, feedback or recommendations on good filtered taps that they have installed ???

A friend has a reverse osmosis filter installed under his sink and i couldn't believe how clean his kettle was even after 2 years  BUT i believe these dispose of a good bit of water while filtering the water that passes through them.
Although i'm trying to get clean water i'm also trying not to waste so much water while doing this.

    Thanks

Filtering your tap-water is more environmentally friendly than buying bottled water and also has advantages over Reverse Osmosis which removes all minerals from the water including beneficial ones such as Calcium & magnesium (hence why your friends' kettle is so clean). I am biased but have a look at the Carron Phoenix Dante filter tap or the Dante Tripure filter tap, either of which might suit your preferences. PM me if you want a link.
