SkyQ to Freesat LNB

My inlaws recently moved and I tried to setup their humax box, but I could get no signal. I assumed that the dish needs alignment. However, it occoured to me that the previous owners may have had SkyQ.

Is it straightforward to swap the SkyQ LNB for a normal Dual LNB? Is there anything special about the mounting?

What does the existing LNB look like? 2 outputs with a spirit level below the LNB feed horn?

If so, get this quad 4 output legacy LNB or this octo 8 output legacy LNB or this hybrid LNB. The hybrid had 4 legacy outputs (quad) and 2 wideband outputs for future SkyQ use.

Swapping the LNBs is straightforward, you should find a video online if required.

I’m pretty sure that the problem. I’d say I could swap it without too much trouble. Luckily it’s a bungalow!

Just a quad. They’ll probably never add another box TBH.
