What would you be looking for for the wheels? What mileage is on them?
And what part of the country are you?

Hi I got them in January 2018 . I've been using a few different sets of wheels so I would put mileage at 2 to 3k max . I'm based in Athlone, can I get back to you tomorrow with a price?

No problem at all. No rush on my end. I wouldn’t be able to collect in Athlone, in case that’s an issue for you

Hi if you are in Dublin I don't think I'll be up that way anytime soon but I'd be looking for 220 with Maxxis Padrone tyres. I don't have skewers for these they came without any so I used to swap out with skewers from other wheels.I'm going away on Wednesday for a week so let me know what you think.

I can handle the delivery if that's a stopping point for either of you. I've dealt with both of ye before and I wouldn't leave it as long as last time Alanbt :D

    Very decent of you.Thanks

What's the weight of the full rig as pictured micase?

    Beautiful frame.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 860 ✭✭✭micase

I don't know but Cycling Weekly in their review put it at 7.58Kg with mechanical 8000 and Mavic Aksiums. DI2 makes it a tad heavier but the wheels I have are a good bit lighter than the Aksiums. I'd say it would be possible to get it towards 7Kg with light wheels and a carbon cockpit.

Sure it was only the 6 months last time! Although you were collecting stuff you’d already paid for so was no bother to me.
Thanks a mill for the generous offer.

What’s the approximate mileage on the wheels? Any close up pictures of the rims to gauge wear?

    Cheers

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 860 ✭✭✭micase

I'd say 2 to 3K max. These are the only tyres that have been on them, still fairly good on the front. ( Hutchinson Performance Tubeless zero punctures about 80psi)

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,158 ✭✭✭Alanbt

Cheers. I’ll pass on them. A little more wear on them than what need for a new build.

Going away Wednesday dropping the asking on this to 1450.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 93 ✭✭Underpinner

    What height are you?

Nice bike but I think I would be sizing down, which is a compromise... and of you did split how much would you want for the frame?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 860 ✭✭✭micase

Hi there I'm 5'7" and have it set for comfort rather than speed. I've attached a link that might be of some help. I'd like to get 650 for the frame which would be everything you see minus groupset, wheels and pedals. I'd prefer to sell as frameset and group because it would save the hassle of stripping it down.I'm away from Wed so would'nt get a chance to do anything till I got back.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 860 ✭✭✭micase

Passed up a CAAD12 Black Inc frame last year, virtually brand new, for €400. Still sickens me to this day! :o

Good luck with this - CAADs rock.

Can you tell me what's included with the frame

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 860 ✭✭✭micase

Can you tell me what's included with the frame

Frame, forks, bars, stem, bottle cages, carbon seatpost, Shimano adapters, out front mount, and Seller saddle, not the Regale. Think that's about it.

Do you mind me asking is there any marks or scratches on the frame. Is the bottom bracket area free from marks as I can see black marks or maybe oil around it.Genuinely interested in the frame.

To be honest I think it's practically unmarked. I'm away at the moment so can't give it a good check over till I get home tomorrow so I'll let you know then when I give it the once over. Thanks.

Hi I had a look at the frame this evening and there is only one mark on the drive side chainstay where the original owner would appear to have dropped the chain.
I tried to get a photo without success but will try again tomorrow. There is nothing around the BB, I think it might be the BB30 lettering on the downtube.
