Can anyone recommend a cat trap and where to get one?

I want to trap my neighbours' cats, they keep soiling my garden.

    Other thread was closed.

I have exhausted all other avenues and I don't want cat shit in my garden or furniture to be scraped or the smell of piss.

    Talk to your neighbour.

I have a cat trap, but not gonna tell you where I got it or how.

They are meant to catch a cat to save it, not to whatever you are planning to do ;)

I've done everything and anything. They still keep coming in.

Cat crap is worse than dog crap-i hate it when your mowing the grass then you get the horrendous stink of it when you accidentally mow it!

I'm not at home enough and neither is my partner to have a dog. It'd be cruel to the dog.

My niece is up every weekend as my sister is away every weekend for work.

The old ladies around here fill 7up bottles with water and leave them in the garden. Keeps the cats away I hear.

What do you plan to do with the cat when you catch it?

Bring it to an animal sanctuary.

Couldn't just fill a 2L coke bottle with water and put them in the garden?

You can't trap other people's animals...

I'm not sure you can legally do that... Is there such a thing as animal control? If you catch that cat there will be another one along soon enough. I think you need to learn to share the world with cats.

Never heard that about bottles of water keeping cats away? How's that supposed to work?

It is very clear in the forum charter.
You cannot discuss any form of illegal activity, dodgy activity, or trapping of pet animals in this forum.
If you find your thread has been closed, it's closed for a reason, so you don't go opening the same thread again without checking first. But you know that.
Next time I have to close one of your threads, it'll be accompanied by a forum ban.
