My daughter is turning 21 this month- what’s the average amount of cash to give her?

I’d avoid cash. Is theee not anything she wants ?

Cash is too impersonal. I gave my daughter a piece of jewellery. A gold ring that cost €250. I also put €100 in her card and had a family meal as she didn’t want a party. She did have a weekend away in a spa hotel with her gal pals.

Cash will be squandered on drink/drugs, buy her something.
