Hey, I've had a second part-time "self-employed" job for the past few years. Trading profit has always been below €5k so I just used the Form 12 route to submit my record of income. However in 2018 I went above €5k.

So, I'm fairly certain I have to submit a Form 11 this year as this meets the criteria of >€5k trading profit. However, I still want to submit health and tuition expenses so I want to submit the form 12 with those. Do I have to declare the trading profit here too or is it ok to not declare and other income in the Form 12 and declare it later in the Form 11?

    Thanks

The form 11 has fields for you to claim relief on health expenses etc just like the form 12. If you submit a form 12 without all your sources of income that would be filing an incorrect tax return.

Ok cool, so I drop the Form 12 completely and submit the Form 11 instead. Thanks.
