Ever since the last update installed I've been having phone coverage issues.

Coverage drops in areas where I had no problems before and people struggle to hear me on the phone unless I find somewhere with strong coverage.

Anyone else seeing similar issues? I've the latest update, Android 9, security patch level 5 February 2019. I'm on the 3 network.

Get an older zip and flash the baseband from that. Should fix it right up.

to be honest 3's coverage is shocking and has been for ages.

Not the same problem but have had wifi disimprove on a Samsung since upgrading, which surprised me. So maybe they also changed default network settings from something different you had set before.

    Only the baseband bit.

Chinese phones often have muddled baseband support. I've had to flash the Greek ROMs baseband to get proper LTE-A then flash the actual ROM I want (in this case the latest stock) without a baseband on a LeEco.

Yeah I looked into this and the baseband is separate from the ROM updates so with newer software you'll end up running older drivers for hardware.

Managed to update the baseband last night and seems to have made a difference. Will monitor over the next few days to see if it's better!
